Through various roles, MPS has had involvement with progressing the infrastructure requirements for four of Kāinga Ora’s large-scale projects (LSPs), being Roskill, Tamaki, Mangere and Porirua. Old state housing in the area is to be replaced with a variety of new terraced homes and apartments that involves the upgrading the existing infrastructure to future proof it for the community.
MPS held responsibilities on behalf of Kāinga Ora for managing the development of agreed infrastructure servicing plans with Watercare and Stormwater Management Plans to be adopted by Healthy Waters.
This included management of Watercare and Council liaison, working with designer to resolve issues and internal reporting through Kāinga Ora.
MPS provided reviewer comment on all technical documents and programmes issues by Kāinga Ora’s engineering service providers.
In addition, MPS has provided expert three water advice and evidence on several Intensification Plan Changes in the Waikato and Hastings. MPS has also provided direct technical three waters advice to the Tamaki Regeneration Company for the Tamaki area.
